Q: I still cannot login with my email and password after I registered. What's wrong?

A: If you just registered, you need to verify your email. You should have received an automatic verification email from us within a few minutes after registering. Please open that email and click on the link provided in there to verify your email address. If you don't see the email in your inbox, please check your spam box, especially if you are using Hotmail or Yahoo since they tend to send this kind of email to the Junk or spam box. After you verify your email, please wait until your confirmed registration is approved by WePassed admin. You should receive another email then, saying that you are good to go!

Q: Where is the stuff? I logged in after I registered, but I still didn't see any content. Is this a scam?

A: No, we are not a scam. You are not seeing any content because you are not in the right section. We organize our site by study fields, such as "Therapeutic Medical Physics" or "Diagnostic Medical Physics". Each study field has its own subdomain; for example the Therapeutic Medical Physics home is at tmedphys.wepassed.com. From the main page of the website, wepassed.com, there are several ways to go to the study field subdomain. You can always type the particular URL, such as the above tmedphys.wepassed.com, into the address bar of the browser, of course. Main links to take you to these study fields are available on the main page. Alternatively, from anywhere throughout the site, you can jump to any study field by clicking on the pull-down menu at the top of the page as shown in the picture below. Note that the area above the blue menu bar can be hidden/shown by clicking on the bar. So if you don't see the pull-down menu above the bar, simply click on the bar to show the area above it.

Q: What exactly am I going to get if I subscribe?

A: First the good news: Many parts of our website are completely open to non-subscribers (you still have to register to access them though). This includes, for example, the discussion forums where you are free to post questions and view comments even though you are not a subscriber. Subscription gives you access to our premium contents, for example the Review and Exam sections. As a non-subscriber, you can see all the titles of Q&A sets available in our library, for example, but you can access only a limited number of them. As a subscriber to a section, you will have access to all contents in that section. You will have access to the full library both in the Review mode, where you can browse the Q&As one by one, and also in the Exam mode. For subscribers, the exam application will feed you random problems from the full library instead of the limited library used for non-subscribers. It will simulate the actual exam experience and you will never know which questions you are going to get!

Q: Are you still adding more questions? Do I have to contribute any Q&A if I subscribe?

A: Yes, our library is not static and we are adding new Q&As regularly to the website. No, you don't have to contribute any Q&A if you subscribe. However, we encourage you to do so! It will help you focus your study by researching the answer to specific questions and it will help hundreds of other candidates. You can write about any topic you like and it doesn't have to be perfect, we will edit it if necessary. If we accept your contributed Q&A, you will get credits that you can use for your subscription!

Q: Is this site affiliated with the ABR?

A: No, this site is not in any way affiliated, supported, or endorsed by the American Board of Radiology or any other certification board. It was simply developed by ABR-certified medical physicists who, after having gone through the rigors of failing and then passing the exams, realized that there should be better and more efficient tools available to prepare for the tests.

Q: Is there any software I need to install on my computer to access WePassed?

A: We recommend you to update your browser to the latest version. We have tested WePassed website on most recent versions of popular browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome. If you access the website with your desktop computer or notebook, you also need to install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player since many components of WePassed website are Flash applications. If you are accessing the website with your mobile device, you don't need to worry about Flash. On mobile devices, we serve non-Flash version of our content. It will look slightly differently from the desktop version, mostly the navigation buttons, but the content itself is the same.

Q: Do I need a microphone to use the WePassed website?

A: A microphone is highly recommended since one of the primary attributes of this site is the ability of the subscriber to verbally respond to the exam questions and review their performance by rating their recorded voice answers. Most laptops these days have a built-in microphone.  External microphones are also quite inexpensive and readily available for purchase. That said, a subscriber without a microphone would still have access to the extensive question and model answer bank as well as the ability to listen to audio files shared by other subscribers.

Q: Can I get paid for submitting question/answer to WePassed?

A: If you submit a question/answer that is subsequently accepted and added to the WePassed database you will receive credits that can be used toward subscription (and possibly other future uses as we grow). We are always looking for people who can write Q/A sets for our library. So if you enjoy doing it, contact us and we'll work out a deal for you to do it at WePassed!

Q: Are the written model answers the "correct" answers?

A: Model answers are prepared by the question author and reviewed by ABR certified physicists for accuracy. However the nature of oral exams and the varied expertise of examiners means there is no single correct answer. Of critical importance is the logic and thought process of your response. The written model answers provide a brief outline meant to confirm your own experience or focus your subsequent study.

Q: Can I use the browser on my smartphone to access WePassed website?

A: Yes, you can! We have made WePassed website mobile friendly, so you should be able to access it with the standard browser, such as Safari or Chrome, on your mobile device (tablet, smartphone, etc.) No Flash or Flash-compatible browser is required. With the plethora of mobile browsers out there, we cannot guarantee that there will never be any problem, but if you have any problem with specific browser on your mobile device, please do let us know and we will try our best to fix it. In addition, we also have dedicated app for iOS and Android. Just search for "WePassed" in the iTunes store or Google Play and install it on your device. The app is free, it's just another way for us to make it easy for you to access WePassed content.

Q: How do I change my password?

A: You must first log into WePassed with your current password. Next, click on your username in the upper right corner of the screen. Then you click on profile and select edit next to your login information.  Finally, enter your current password, then your desired password.
